Z Max Tank

Im gonna start with the good things. The tank looks really nice, one of my favorite looking tanks the way the coil is covered and it looks rugged. Its also really easy to use and take apart, all the threads are nice and short and untwist with no effort, the airflow is pretty good for a sub-ohm tank, and everything seems high quality. The problem though is when you actually smoke it. It has no flavor. Like at all its actually mind boggling how little flavor there is. I've tried all 4 m series coils and none of them are any better than the others, I noticed a little bit better flavor on the m0.2 coils and little longer lasting for the m0.15 but other than that the coils are like the same flavor same size clouds. I've also tried all kinds of juice, cloud nerdz, coastal clouds, candy king, naked 100, juice head. I've tried 70/30, 60/40, and even a 50/50 i was able to find at my local vape shop. I've tried fruit flavors, desert flavors, tobacco flavors, salt nic, iced juice. Still even with an even 50/50 vg/pg ratio it still tastes like nothing. I've had multiple people give their opinions on it too and say the same thing so I know its not just me. Also they say its 100% leakproof wich is 100% a lie because after about of month of use its starting to leak out of the fill hole and seep out of the Crack between the airflow ring and the fill hole cover. And this isn't a worn out seal because there is no rubber seals in this area. Also the top fill hole cover only takes about a quarter rotation to fully unscrew it and it doesn't get tight wich is nice when you are wanting to take it off a refill it because you dont have to sit and twist it for a full minute and its not all tight and hard to get loose. The problem with that though is ill be laying in bed messing with it wich is my fault obviously but ill end up messing with it to the point I accidently take the top off and spill juice everywhere. Because its so loose and the threads are so short. Also the m series coils are really wonky. They seem to be inconsistent, like ill get a 5 pack and one coil will last 3 days before its burnt and the next coil lasts 3 weeks. This is with the same exact priming method and pretty much the same length and amount of hits. Sometimes ill go through 3 tanks of juice sometimes ill go through a full 60ml bottle before I start to taste any burnt. Also with the inconsistency, the ohms are never spot on. My mod reads ohms of the coil like most mods do and its a really high end almost $400 box mod so Im 99.99% confident that its more accurate than a 2 dollar mass produced coil. I'll stick a 0.15 ohm coil in and my mod will read 0.14 ohms. Then the next one will be 0.15 ohm. Then the next will be 0.16 then 0.14 again. They're like 1 or 2 ohms off a lot of the time. Also the coils are shaped kind of weird so its a little hard to get the tip of a bottle of juice in there to prime the coils especially on the 0.15 and 0.2 where you've got a quadracoil and tiblecoil and you have to get that weird angle to reach all the coils off to the side. Also doesn't make super big clouds but its pretty decent for a sub-ohm tank it would maybe compete with a lower quality rda system as far as cloud size gos. Other than that its just not a very good tank and has no flavor. It tastes like im hitting straight cotton. Or like im putting my mouth up to a humidifier and just inhaling straight water vapor. Its very weird, ive never experienced something like it.

Because I was using Smok tanks and they were always leaking straight out the bottom where the air flow comes in so I switched to a Geek Vape Z-Max and have used the tank for about 3 months and just now had to replace the coil and I would never switch to anything but Geek Vape now.

Great little tank, no leaks, big clouds and great flavour.

Love the new fill method! So much easier and convenient. Very pleased with Geek Vape products!
