Q8: It seems that there is something wrong with the operation of it. When I inhale there is a popping sound and I get a blast of the product. How do I solve these problems? |
A8: It sounds like you're experiencing some issues with your B100 vape device. The popping sound and the sensation of getting a blast of the product when inhaling could indicate a couple of things: Coil Flooding: When you hear popping sounds accompanied by splattering or spitting of e-liquid into your mouth, it's often due to coil flooding. This can happen if the coil is oversaturated with e-liquid or if the wattage is too low for the coil resistance. Incorrect Wattage: While 55 watts might be suitable for some coils, it could be too low for a 0.4 ohm coil in the B100 device. Sub-ohm coils typically require higher wattages to vaporize e-liquid efficiently and prevent flooding.
To troubleshoot: Check Coil: Ensure that your coil is securely screwed into place. If it's not fitted properly, it can lead to leaking or popping sounds. Adjust Wattage: Try increasing the wattage gradually until you find a setting that works well with your coil. Prime the Coil: If you haven't already, prime your coil by saturating the cotton-wicking material with e-liquid before installing it. This helps prevent dry hits and flooding. Clean the Device: If there's excess e-liquid in the tank or around the coil, clean it out to prevent further issues. If the above problem is not solved, please provide photos and video and the order number to store@geekvape.com, and we will provide after-sales service. |

Q10: If using the watts in a lower than recommended mode will affect the coils life? |
A10: Using the Geekvape B100 (Aegis Boost Pro 2) Kit 100W at wattages lower than the recommended range can indeed affect the coil's lifespan. Operating at lower wattages can lead to insufficient heating, which may result in incomplete vaporization of the e-liquid. This can cause residue buildup on the coil, leading to gunking and reduced coil efficiency over time. Additionally, vaping at lower wattages might produce less vapor and a less satisfying flavor experience, which can also impact your overall vaping satisfaction. To ensure optimal coil performance and longevity, it's best to adhere to the recommended wattage range specified for your device and coils. |
